Documentary Time: British Hells Angels Are A Bit Rubbish.
When you think of Hells Angels you usually think of leather clad outlaws roaring down an American highway with a sense of menace in the air or you think of the unfortunate events at the Rolling Stones 1969 free concerts at the Altamont speedway. So it is with some pride I present the British version of a Hells Angel...Filmed in 1973 by the BBC there is no rolling terror for this lot it's just a lot of buggering about,a nice mini break then settle down for a bit of Dr Who on the portable.

Turkish Psyc Disco Folk Party
I present to you yet another musical mixed bag of Turkish Psychedelic Rock & disco folk tunes. Featuring the likes of Barış Manço, Edip Akbayram and (pictured above) Derdiyoklar all these songs come from the 70's - 80's but you will no doubt be thrilled that all three artists are still going strong and that is about as much info I can give you until I magically learn Turkish so fasten your seatbelt and enjoy the ride...
Today's Earwurm: Wolf People
This sounds like all my favourite prog played at once and is all the better for it. I can't find much info on the band but I can tell you they're from somewhere in the UK they are 3 or 4 lads and some have beards.

Documentary Time: Tattoo

This little period piece (Tattoo) is a fascinating look at Tattooing in Britain in the 1970. I can find no more information about who made it and for whom so it's something of a mystery. It's well made (for the time) and looks at the history of tattooing in britain as well as a brief look at the budding body modification / piercing scene. It's a bit creepy for some reason and I think that's because this was before tattooing was a mainstream thing so it has a slightly illicit feel to some of the interviews. It also has footage of bare bums, willies & boobies so be warned.

Matt's Great Gig Guide: Physics House Band
I went and saw this lot (The Physics House Band) last night. if you like music that sounds like a clusterfuck of Cardiacs, Frank Zappa & Jagga Jazzist played by a trio of musically gifted sweaty 19 year olds boys this is the group for you...This is their new video for their song 'Abraxical Solapse' (which is a made up word, by the way) Rating: *One and a half thumbs up out of two*
